I Am Bliss, The Spirit of Mantra
How can you cultivate bliss in the midst of chaos? The short answer is you cannot. You must cultivate bliss in the center of calm. If you want to experience bliss, or a peaceful state of being, you need to be proactive in cultivating your awareness when you are in a peaceful state of being. Does that sound too difficult? It’s really not when you know the simple rules.
Our reality is governed by natural laws. The greatest law in our universe is the law of attraction. Essentially, like is attracted to like. Energy flows where attention goes. It is not discriminate. If you focus your attention on chaos, chaos is what expands. If you focus your attention on calm, calmness is what expands. That’s all well and good, but how can you get from one state of being to the other?
Fortunately, we all have a reset button, although some have forgotten that it exists and consequently forgot how to use it.
There are various methods of using the reset button, and that’s a good thing because we are unique. There are many paths to the same destination, many doors that allow entrance to the same great room. That great room is the sacred space between and it exists in all beings in all of creation. It is the calm in the center of the chaos, the eye of the storm.
Sleep is a natural reset, although sleep is not an easy answer for those suffering from sleep disorders and mental chaos. Meditation is a marvelous way of cultivating your awareness. Chanting or singing is a divine key that opens the door to the sacred space between. And what awaits in the sacred space between? Bliss, being in your natural state of bliss.
