You know what I mean, right?
Haven’t you ever been privy to some information that you knew had the power to improve the lives of people you care about? And the only reason that information was a secret is that it simply was not shared!
There are a lot of reasons we don’t share these golden nuggets of information, sometimes it may be out of a need to control access to it, but oftentimes it is simply because we have difficulties with communicating.
I know, it’s shocking isn’t it? We live in the information age, the age of 24/7 connectivity, global communication capabilities, social media, etc. But we are hampered by so many conundrums, like oh gee, someone may be offended, it may appear like I’m soliciting, or SPAMMing, I’m uncomfortable with opening dialog for fear of ______.
See what I mean? We are stopped dead in the middle of sharing that golden information that has the potential to elevate the quality of life for those we most care about — NOT because the information was deemed classified, but because we were Afraid of some perceived communication taboo.
Well, I have to admit that I am guilty of this kind of fear. And as I’m typing this, I am suddenly surprised by that fact because I have for many, many years believed myself to be totally fearless! I made a decision as a very young girl that I would not live my life in fear, that I would not make my decisions based on fear, and yet, right here, right now, I realize that my failure to communicate is a fear-based decision.
WOW, suddenly I realize that my throat chakra needs some attention, and apparently, Writing Really Is Therapeutic!
OK, with that bit of revelation, I must temporarily divert my attention from this line of work, to tend to my core practice … energy work … clearing my throat chakra!
When I come back, I will be primed and ready to spill the sacred secret!
