The fantastic folks at Big Cat Rescue do amazing work for amazing animals.

You may not realize how important animal sanctuaries are in protecting these beautiful animals, or even how important it is to rescue these animals. Perhaps you’re a bit jaded and think it is best to let nature take its course of extinction.

But I’d like to suggest to you that we are simply one part of an ecosystem, a large living organism. If we do not honor and protect the whole system, we risk ourselves to a miserable imbalance that affects us in ways we cannot, or even wish to, imagine.

The following video is a very cool, very “scientific” experiment showing how big cats react to catnip. Watch it, it’s really wonderful!
